Tutor.com- Available at Greene County Library!

Just in time for the new school year, Azalea Regional Libraries have added a new and very exciting resources to students all over Greene County. Tutor.com is now available for students of all ages who are PINES library card holders. That's right, all you need is your library card to access FREE tutor sessions, GED and SAT test prep, and so much more!

What is Tutor.com?

Tutor.com is an online tutoring service that provides homework help, live tutoring, test preparation, and career resources. A supported, informed, and educated citizenry is at the core of our library mission and this service will enable us to meet critical needs and benefit all ages within our service population.

How does it work? 

Students and patrons would be able to log in with their PINES library card and have access to a live tutor (over 3,000 subject experts speaking both English and Spanish) 7 days a week between 1pm-8pm. Students and patrons will enjoy unlimited use, unlimited sessions, and K-12, college, and adult content. 

What does it offer?

Over 100 subject areas are featured, including test prep materials and career and job resources. Live tutoring sessions can be recorded and saved for review, contain a live chat feature, and have options where students can submit essays and papers for review.  College students have access to SAT study courses and prep materials and parents have access to information about colleges, FAFSA forms, and other college-related resources. There is a section with GRE, MCAT, LSAT, ASVAB, and AP exams and job-seeking adults can even receive resume and cover letter assistance and chat with a career coach. There is also a section for those preparing for the GED or citizenship test.
