WELCOME BACK!
At Greene County Library, we strive to create quality programs for everyone to enjoy safely. There are various crafts and programs available free of charge for all ages until July 31. Please stop by the library for more information. We are currently open to the public Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM, Thursdays from 9 AM to 8 PM, Saturdays from 10 AM to 4 PM, and Sundays from 2 to 6 PM. Please see the flyer below with important details about our upcoming teen programs for teens age 13 to 17. Call the library at 706-453-7276 for more information on daily programs.
In the event of inclement weather, events will be canceled or moved inside so please be sure to sign up for programs to receive updates or changes. Virtual events will be ongoing and there will be prize drawings every week for any participants who read 10 books or more. Read 10 books, track your progress on Beanstack and stop by the library to redeem your prize and badge!

Teen Advisory Group
The Teen Advisory Group or TAG is a group of teen student leaders ages 13-17 who will meet monthly, virtual or in-person, to discuss new book choices and requests, participate in crafts and activities, and volunteer in the library. This is a free opportunity for students to gain leadership skills and These students will engage in community outreach and gain social skills by working together to encourage teen and young adult participation at the library
Wild About Books: Teen Book Club
Wild About Books, the new book club aimed at teens who read and discuss books based on a monthly reading list. Meets monthly at 4 pm-5 pm beginning in June. Currently reading: Stepsister by Jennifer Donnelly
