Summer Reading Crafternoons!

Updated: Jun 17, 2021

Have you signed up for the Tails and Tales Summer Reading Challenge on Beanstack? If not, you are missing out on all the summer fun. If you read 10 books, you can claim your badge and redeem your prizes at the library! The Greene County Library has several fun events and performances for your family and friends to enjoy. We encourage you to follow us on our social media pages. Crafternoons are a fantastic way to say we are providing DIY crafts during the afternoons. On Tuesdays between 3 pm and 4 pm, we invite our teen participants to stop by the library for in-person crafts such as Constellation Tales or Backyard Habitats. We will also have “Take and Make” craft kits with the necessary supplies and instructions included in the bag for teens to be creative at home. We encourage you to take pictures and share your creativity with us on social media. Every Wednesday between 4 pm and 5 pm, we invite you to bring your little ones, ages 5 to 11, to explore their creative side and make memorable crafts such as the Dinosaur Diorama or pick up a “Take and Make” craft during this time to take home the supplies for DIY fun activities at home. These crafternoons will vary based on your child’s level of interest so be sure to sign up for our parent emailing list to stay updated on what craft activities will be available for your child. For more information, please visit our website at http://www.azalealibraries.org/member-libraries/greene-county-library/
