As the holiday season comes to a close, staff at the Greene County Library have been working diligently to stay safe and continue to offer much needed services to the community. Rising COVID-19 cases have influenced the recent change in operating hours. You may be surprised to find the doors closed at this time. Due to these rising cases, Azalea Regional Libraries will be temporarily suspending the popular "Taking Care of Business" or TCOB hours as of December 28, 2020 until January 08, 2021. This means patrons will not be able to go inside the library to pick up holds or search for books on our shelves in-person. AZRLS will continue to offer curbside pick up by appointments only. Faxing, copying and print services can be done via email or phone requests. Hours will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday: 10 AM - 2 PM, Thursdays 3 PM - 7PM. We will be closed on Saturday and Sundays until further notice.
You can search for books and place hold requests using your library card and password at www.gapines.org. Not sure how to do this? Give us a call and we will walk you through the process of placing a hold and having it sent to Greene County Library. We are available during business hours to answer your questions and offer assistance with downloading e-books. Library staff are working around these changes to bring great programs and activities for patrons of all ages so be sure you are following us on social media.
